We are a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our customers and our employeesOur mission is to provide peace of mind and protection to families across the country, and we achieve this by offering cutting-edge security solutions and exceptional customer service.Position SummarySafe Haven Security is seeking a dedicated Benefits Specialist & Leaves Administrator to join our organizationThe successful candidate will assume a pivotal role in the administration of all benefits, encompassing medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability plans, as well as overseeing and managing Safe Havens leaves of absenceThis position is the key liaison of communication between employees and management.In this role you will:
Assists with the implementation and communication for the open enrollment processEnsures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility informationResolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.Performs quality checks and weekly audits on all benefits-related dataAssists employees regarding benefits issues and qualifying event changesAssists with Verifications of Employment.Works with third party administrators to assist with benefits claims resolution in a timely mannerAssists employees with life status changes and new hire benefit on-boardingResponds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, and other general inquiriesProcesses and administers all leave of absence requests and disability paperwork (medical, personal, disability and FMLA)Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications.Completes and processes all National Medical Child Support OrdersAssists with monthly premium statements and reconciliation for all group insurance policiesResponsible for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) 1095-C and 1094-C transmittal, accuracy and filing deadlinesAssists the department in projects as neededWhy Join Safe Haven?Weekly payPaid Time Off (PTO) program and paid holidaysMedical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and Life Insurance CoverageEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Recognized by Newsweeks Americas Greatest Workplaces!Safe Haven is the largest employee-based ADT Authorized DealerMonday - Friday 8AM - 5PMTo be successful in this role, you should have:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate effective time managementExtensive knowledge of employee benefits and relevant lawsExcellent analytical, detail-oriented, and critical thinking skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in ExcelExperience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)Ability to maintain complete and accurate records in all aspects of the jobDemonstrates unwavering commitment to confidentiality and a sense of urgencyTakes personal accountability for the quality and timeliness of work, and achieves results with minimal supervisionCapable of working effectively under tight deadlinesWhat Safe Haven requires in a candidate:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
